Monday October 28th

All right! Lets talk grades and review the lab from last week shall we?? You all need to crank it up a notch or ten and get that darn homework finished. We take our quarter test in two weeks on Friday and we aren't slowing down a bit. Chapter 19 is coming up, but first, this week, Halloween!! Cool demos and fun for the family. This week we'll cover the second and third laws of thermodynamics, the measure of randomness in the universe! Really, it IS. There are also ways to predict if a reaction will be spontaneous or if it will need a little help. This week, we'll calculate some things from demonstrations - as of yet, no lab.

Friday October 19th

Morning session will be all about the lab calculations, for both labs. Both labs are due Monday!! Afternoon session is going to be all about the problem sets from this week. This is called a recitation - where YOU ask questions about how to do the problems and I do my best to answer them. I will ask that each of you be ready to present one problem that you chose to do this week. Present as much of it as you can, even if you got stuck. See you at 7:15...I'll bring the snacks!

Tuesday October 16th

Today we'll actually FINISH the titration lab and the analysis is your homework. But that's not all! For the same price, you get to prep your lab book for Thursday's lab. This time, besides the "main points" include the "aim" of the lab. The "aim" should state what the point of the lab is, what we are trying to find out.
